Very much like driving on a foggy day—we go slower, we feel tense, miss our exits and, eventually, are totally drained from the experience. Once the fog gradually lifts, we are able to see things more clearly. Life is no different. When I made the choice to take responsibility for my life, I woke up, went into the office and quit my job. I didn’t tell anyone for three days. I did not want people once again telling me that I was making the wrong decision. I had made the choice to listen to my own inner guide, to stay focused and do whatever it took to make my dreams become a reality. Fast forward nine years and I am a business owner, a sought-after speaker, I write for several newspapers, magazines and journals. I tell you this notto impress you, but to impress upon you what happens when you take responsibility and say yes to your life.
