What is the first impression you have of yourself?
Are you happy with the way you feel, look and act, or do you feel as if you are always swimming against the current?
Are you living the life you imagined or do you just exist?
Are you listening to your gut or the voices of others who always seem to think they know what is best for you?
Take a pad and pen and create a mission statement. We normally think of mission statements for business, but you need one for your life. Your life’s mission statement describes your life’s purpose. It guides your actions, spells out your overall life goals, keeps you on the right path and gives you a guide for decision-making.
Write your mission statement in the present tense as though it has already become a reality. Make it as detailed as possible. This process may take a few weeks or even months, but it worth the effort.
If you already have a mission statement, review it to see if any changes are desired.
